As owner of Code 3 Products, I would like to share with you my background and business model so you can be assured you are dealing with a brother officer, someone who cares greatly about your privacy and someone who provides only the best and most professional products. I have many years in law enforcement, the fire service and military. I was a crash/fire/rescueman with the United States Air Force stationed in Texas, Illinois, United Kingdom and Sacramento, CA. Once I left the USAF I was hired by the Santa Monica Fire Department where I worked as a firefighter, paramedic, truckman, tillerman, acting Captain and crash/rescueman. One thing lead to another and somehow I ended up in Baltimore! There I joined the Baltimore Police Department where I was an officer in the Eastern and Central districts. I was one of 3 officers to start the bicycle unit in Central and I also was a field training officer, officer-in-charge of Sector 1 and was assigned to many plainclothes details in narcotics, vice and robbery. After 3 years I was promoted to detective and assigned to Internal Affairs Division. I worked there until I was dealt some family issues that caused me to return to Los Angeles. I was immediately hired by the LAPD and worked a variety of assignments mostly in patrol. I have worked West Valley Division for many years now and plan to stay until I retire in about 2 or 3 years.
My non-emergency services background includes: Published articles for nationwide fire service magazines and a published book; "History of the Santa Monica Fire Department". I have created ads and artwork for numerous clients. I have extensive background in training fire fighters, paramedics and police officers and have produced comprehensive training manuals and handbooks on a variety of subjects. This experience, along with a varied knowledge in computers and graphic arts, makes an ideal marriage of backgrounds to give you, my brother and sister officers and firefighters the best possible specialty business cards and graphic products. Please understand that I hold your information and artwork in high regard. We don't recreate these images for public use and certainly don't allow the general public to have access to our products. Furthermore, all orders received should be sent via departmental or organizational e-mail if possible. I take measures to assure that our personalized products aren't sent to anyone other than active duty or retired fire, police or military personnel. I do make calls to police departments on occasion to verify the authenticity of an order's origin.
I do occasionally get sent artwork that may be owned by another person. If this happens, please advise us. As this art is only used for brother and sister firefighters, police officers and federal agency employees, it is kept "in family" so to speak. But please, if you find something on this site or on a product that another officer/fire fighter is using and you are not "okay" with it, please let us know. We will remove it immediately.
